Swaminarayan, the founder of the Swaminarayan Sampraday, of, established temples, as part of his philosophy of theism and deity worship. These Temples are known as Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir. He constructed nine temples in the cities of Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Muli, Vadtal, Junagadh, Dholera, Dholka, Gadhpur & Jetalpur in the West Indian State of Gujarat.
